Biddle and I both thought the new fort seemed smaller. Having been in the former one, this one felt new, strange.

Biddle went on a trip

Biddle went on a trip to the west coast. and had his picture taken at various Lewis and Clark spots. He also visited some camping spots along the way. This post has pictures of some of the sites. We also went to Fort Clatsop.

Andrea wanted her Biddle Stephanie (named for Stephanie Ambrose-Tubbs who made quite an impression on Andrea) dressed as one of the women from the encampment at the LCTHF National Meeting in Great Falls. Grandma did her best at making her new clothes.

This is my version of Miss Biddle. I was enjoying putting it together. I crocheted the shawl. The dress is a size 6 toddler dress from the Good Will. The flowers are a sewing accesory on an elastic base.

Miss Biddle at the Lancaster Regional Meeting

Miss Biddle went to the Lewis and Clark regional meeting in Lancaster, PA. She visited the Ellicott House where Meriwether Lewis learned much about surveying, saw the survey marker, and attended the Ohio River Chapter meeting with Bob Anderson. Doris who swam with Andrea and Katie in the Missouri was there, too.

Biddle recently took his family to the southern part of Missouri. He wanted to see the sunset from the porch of the new house. On the way home, he insisted we had to stop at the Lewis and Clark Interpretative Center in Nebraska City.
